PAST
Jay Plat, born Jason Profeta in Elmont, New York, first made waves in the mid-90s with the group Silent Assassins, gaining local notoriety which grew with connections formed across varied cultural backgrounds within his community. Beginning an A&R career with Platinum Deal Management, Jay began to learn from legends like Ted Yanni and has ties to the Iconic HCnF studios in Freeport, NY. The year 1998 marked a turning point when he teamed up with Mikey 2 Ninez, diving into creation of gritty basement tapes that captured the raw New York soundscape.
Their shared vision and passion led to the founding of Spitfire Studios in 2001, transforming it into a crucible for innovative hip-hop and a beacon and partnering with local talents like B-Sharp da Terra, SKE da Heistman, and Griff Manolo and Queens icons Cobretti, TOC, knowledge and Wiz.
By 2005, Spitfire Studios had gained significant attention, even connecting indirectly with notable names like Murder Inc., boosting its credibility in the broader music industry. This exposure facilitated collaborations with key New York artists including WayDah Blacc, Dave Bing, SKE da Heistman, Griff, and made countless hood classics with Mont Bangerz.
After several dynamic years, Jay took a hiatus in 2007 and started and family, and the studio disbanded.

Present
Reemerging in 2010, Jay partnered with Justin Hendricks to form Ark Music Entertainment, pivoting towards new projects such as the Lil Sicc brand, which was launched in 2012. This period rejuvenated his career, propelling him into new ventures and re-establishing his influential status in the music scene
The culmination of Jay’s vast network came to fruition in 2023 when he joined forces with MY MAIN AI, a leader in tech innovation, and Rob Love, an expert in music production and event planning.
Together, they created Night Mvmnts, blending cutting-edge technology with immersive music experiences, marking the latest evolution in Jay’s career.

This venture not only highlighted his continuous adaptation to the changing tides of the music industry but also reinforced his legacy as a pioneer at the nexus of music and technology.
Now, connected with both Justin and Mike, as if a musical dream team has emerged covering almost every genre of music.

Past
Raised in a single-parent household amid the trials of poverty, Mike DeCicco, better known as Mikey 2 Nines, quickly adapted to life's challenges, maturing faster than most on the rough streets. His initial foray into the vibrant world of street culture began in 1984, immersing himself in the breakdancing scene at the iconic Roller Castle. This venue was a battleground for dance legends like the Rock Steady Crew, where Mikey witnessed and participated in the formative battles of hip hop culture.
As the tides of hip hop evolved, Mikey transitioned from b-boy circles to music production and performance when he met Jay Plat in 1998 and co founded SpitFire Studios which was an iconic music hub in Elmont, NY from 2001-2006. He wrote songs and spit verses over instrumentals, demonstrating his versatility and deepening his roots in the music scene as well as sharpening his engineering and mastering skills!
Additionally, he ventured into the burgeoning NYC EDM scene during its peak, drawn to seminal clubs like The Tunnel, Limelight, and Sound Factory. These experiences ignited a lifelong passion for electronic music genres, augmenting his artistic palette.
